Simplification of pension schemes
To make the pension schemes more aligned, there has been a change in one of the fund's pension schemes.
There's good news for those members who have pension entitlements for retirement age 65 but haven't had the option to defer their retirement age. From 1 May, they too have the option to defer their retirement age to 67, as allowed for the other schemes within our fund. This means that all members now have the same flexibility and options regarding their retirement age.
What do you have to do?
You do not need to take any action at this time. The changes will be automatically made.
