At the end of June, you received your Uniform Pension Overview (UPO) from us. We explain what’s in it and what you can do with it below. An explanation of the UPO 2021 can also be found on our website under Documents.
What’s in your UPO
- Basic details about you and your partner (if applicable)
- Your accrued pension up to and including 31 December of the previous year
- Information about the risks facing our fund
- Factor A* for your tax return
What you can do with your UPO
- Determine whether your accrued pension and partner’s pension (if applicable) are enough for you to retire;
- Your UPO does not mention your state pension benefit amount. You can find this out from the Sociale Verzekeringsbank (SVB).
- How much pension your partner would receive if you die and whether this amount is sufficient
- If you don’t think this will be enough, you can take out additional insurance for your old-age pension with a bank or insurance company
- Factor A* for your tax return; this is the amount of old-age pension you accrued in a year with our fund. This is also the tax allowance, i.e. the amount you should use for your tax return. Use Factor A for 2020 for your tax return in 2021. You can read more about this in the explanation on your UPO.
